Statement:

Under the guise of protecting civil liberties and upholding values, our government opportunistically forces agendas spanning decades and continents.   In lieu of cooperation and diplomacy we instead are represented by the widespread use of intimidation and aggressions leaving global populations, for whom principles of freedom are falsely maintained, undergo a systematic stripping of personal rights and sovereignty.

As our national psyche faces the consequences of crossed identities we, as citizens, ultimately become enslaved to our own fears within a state of national schizophrenia.   Let Me Do the Talking was a series commenting on the state of American national/international character through recent history in combining imagery taken from WWII propaganda posters with air-raid photographs from the first and second gulf war. The project was started in the days just following September 11, 2001.
